Meet Mandy

Mandy was born and grew up in England, but has lived in Switzerland since 2001 with her husband Keith and two daughters. With Keith, she is part of the leadership team at Oikos International Church in Basel. Keith and Mandy have ministered together as a couple for many years leading and training Alpha courses, and developed and run the course, ‘Enriching sexual intimacy in marriage’. Most recently Mandy has been working as a home organisation consultant and coach.

Mandy’s other roles include:

• Speaker ambassador for Compassion Switzerland, a Christian child sponsorship charity; she and Keith sponsor three children
• Volunteer with Rahab, a Salvation Army outreach to sex workers in Basel’s red-light district.
• Leader at the Saphira women’s ministry in Basel, speaking at regular events for this and at other churches in Switzerland.

Her debut book was “Gorgeous: Seeing yourself through God’s eyes “(Evangelista Media, 2014). It was published in German as “Du Bist Wünderschon: Mich mit den Augen Gottes sehen’ (Cap Books, 2014).

Mandy loves to encourage others and demonstrate how a relationship with Jesus Christ changes our lives, here and now. She is passionate about sharing the treasurers and freedoms of following Jesus, and delights to help people on their journey to become all that God intended them to be, by sharing her own life story with refreshing honesty and downto-earth humour. Her motivation is simply this: “Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me” (Psalm 66:16).
